Steven Cheney
Office of Student AffairsStephen Cheney joined the Feik School of Pharmacy in Spring 2025, bringing with him years of full-time higher education experience in financial aid and academic advising, mostly from his alma mater. Cheney has extensive experience working with first-generation students, honors students, pre-health profession students and military veterans. Cheney's father was an army surgeon, so he’s not “from” anywhere exactly, but he has lived in the San Antonio area for more than half his life. As an undergraduate, Cheney was involved in student government, orientation, campus ministry, campus housing, ambassadors, student-alumni relations and more, adding to his higher education experience. Cheney has since served as an advisor to several student organizations and written an e-book on student leadership. While cognizant of modern developmental and educational psychology, Cheney's perspective on student development is mainly rooted in the philosophy of Aristotle.
