Our Facilities
The Feik School of Pharmacy was built and designed specifically for pharmaceutical education. Our school is in the center of San Antonio near major highways for easy access from throughout the city. Our classrooms are modern and equipped with the latest in instructional technology. Breakout rooms are adjacent to classrooms for smaller Instructional sessions and study groups.
The FSOP Library is dedicated to pharmaceutical research and is staffed with a dedicated librarian. As part of the University of the Incarnate Word libraries, multiple online reference materials are available to students on the Pharmacy library page. The library is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and available to students through a swipe card at other times.
Technology is critical to success as a pharmacist. There are multiple opportunities to learn and practice pharmaceutical skills in our state-of-the-art teaching and research labs. Students and faculty collaborate in the labs where learning experiences mirror workplace situations. This hands-on experience is one of the reasons FSOP students excel on the NAPLEX exam.
Faculty and school administrators maintain offices within the FSOP building. Along with student support services, this provides ease of access for students. Classes, study groups, labs and collaborations can happen within our dedicated facility. Along with our pharmaceutical museum, we utilize our space to honor the past, educate for today’s challenges and prepare for the future.
