By 1995 he had earned his Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University and entered the Navy as a Pharmacy Officer. He continued his education, earning his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina in 1998, his Masters in Economics from the University of Oklahoma in 2001 and in 2005 he completed a PhD from the University of Michigan. He retired from the Department of Defense in 2015 with 26 years of experience.
Dr. Garber possess extensive knowledge in the areas of pharmacy management and administration. He has benefited from experience leading inpatient and outpatient pharmacies, medical response teams, human resource departments, government contracting, pharmacy informatics directorates, educational missions and even the business of a small hospital.
Dr. Garber has received numerous military and research awards and looks forward to assisting others for the betterment of the patient and the profession.
