Monica A. Barcenez

Monica A. Barcenez, a native of San Antonio, Texas is happily married to her husband, Michael. Together, they have two wonderful children, Matthew, and Mia, both graduates of Cibolo Steele High School. Their youngest, Mia, is currently pursuing a nursing degree at UIW.

Mrs. Barcenez is the Administrative Assistant to the Associate Dean of Student Affairs. With over 25 years of experience in office management, Monica brings a wealth of expertise to the role. She is passionate about providing exceptional administrative support, enabling her team and together focusing on their core mission of serving FSOP students and alumni.

Known for her outstanding customer care and positive attitude, Monica thrives on creating a welcoming and efficient work environment. She looks forward to contributing to a fun and supportive atmosphere while ensuring the smooth operation of her office.

Outside of work, Monica is passionate about spending time with her loved ones, traveling, and creating lasting memories. She also takes pride in her role as the family historian, capturing precious moments through photography.
