Dr. Lusk is a Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy, an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and a clinical pharmacy specialist at the University Health System in San Antonio. She practices in cardiology.

Dr. Lusk attended the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and received her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2010. She completed two years of clinical pharmacy residency training at St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis, specializing in Internal Medicine. She joined the faculty of the University of the Incarnate Word in 2012. She became Vice Chair of the Pharmacy Practice Department in 2021.

Dr. Lusk is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society, and the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society. She is an Associate Editor for the American Journal of Pharmacotherapy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist and board-certified cardiology pharmacist. Her research interests include heart failure, anticoagulation, antiplatelet therapy, and student learning and success.
