Pharmacy - Service Opportunities
When you enroll at the Feik School of Pharmacy, the only faith-based school of pharmacy in Texas, you advance a mission of care that began in 1869 with the founding of Santa Rosa Infirmary, the region’s first Catholic hospital, by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word.

Bring the Word Alive in the World
Today, Feik School of Pharmacy faculty, students and alumni carry on that work through countless service projects, regional health fairs and free clinics, service trips abroad and other mission-driven initiatives.
Approaching pharmacy with a heart for others is the best way we know how to bring the Word alive in the world. Service reminds us all of the greater good and prepares us — mind, body, heart, soul — for multiple pharmacy career paths.
Five Health Professions Schools. One Purpose.
Feik School of Pharmacy faculty, students and alumni routinely join with peers across UIW’s five health professions schools. The School of Pharmacy works with the School of Osteopathic Medicine and the School of Nursing and Health Professions to sponsor school-based vaccination clinics. The UIW Eye Institute, an integral part of the Rosenberg School of Optometry, is one of the largest eye clinics of its kind.
