Her area of practice is inpatient and outpatient cardiology.
Dr. Kitten attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2017 and her Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2019. Her thesis was “The Gut Microbiome as a Mediator of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in Mexican Americans.” In conjunction with her master's degree, Dr. Kitten completed a two-year Pharmacotherapy Residency through The University of Texas at Austin and UT Health San Antonio. Dr. Kitten’s research interests include the role of the gut microbiome in health and disease, cardiology and large database analysis.
Dr. Kitten is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP).
