The Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) program is offered in a modified block format that assimilates pharmaceutical and basic sciences into a unique format. The four-year curriculum focuses on a strong foundation in the basic, pharmaceutical, administrative and clinical sciences using innovative technology, curricular integration, lifelong learning and critical thinking to provide high-quality, evidence-based pharmaceutical care with opportunities for multicultural and multilingual development.
Co-Curriculum
Co-curricular activities and experiences are designed to complement, augment, and/or advance what is learned in the formal didactic and experiential pharmacy curriculum (ACPE Guidance for Standards 2016).
Dual Degree
The University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy (FSOP) has partnered with the University of the Incarnate Word School of Professional Studies to offer FSOP pharmacy students the opportunity to earn a Master of Arts in Administration (MAA) with a concentration in Healthcare Administration.
Pharmacotherapy Residency
Pharmacotherapy Residency Program focuses on patient care, teaching, service, and scholarly activity. The program is designed to provide pharmacy graduates a positive environment to sharpen the skills required to excel as clinicians and educators.
