Dr. Corbyn Gilmore

Dr. Corbyn Gilmore is an Assistant Professor of Social Administrative Sciences in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy. He teaches Ethics and Life Issues, Pharmacy and Health Care Systems, and Pharmacoeconomics, Quality and Safety.

Dr. Gilmore earned his B.S. in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2020, his M.S. in Clinical Investigation and Translational Science from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2023, and his Ph.D. in Translational Science from the University of Texas at Austin. His research areas of interest include antimicrobial resistance, antimicrobial stewardship, infectious diseases antibiotic prescribing, health outcomes, cancer, data science and biostatistics. The main goal of his research is to generate real-world evidence that informs treatment decisions and health care utilization across infectious diseases and oncology using large health data resources. Additionally, Dr. Gilmore is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), the Rho Chi Honor Society, the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) and the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA).
