Advising and Mentorship

The Office of Student Affairs has dedicated counselors to advise students throughout their time at FSOP on academic, professional and other issues that impact the journey to becoming a pharmacist. Staff have an open-door policy in the offices that are all conveniently located within the Pharmacy building at UIW.

While the standard is to foster an environment of active learning, faculty work with students as mentors to nurture and develop the leadership and professional skills expected of tomorrow’s healthcare team members. The administrators and faculty are passionate about cultivating and maintaining professional relationships through mentorship, taking time to provide individualized guidance, personalized assessment and one-on-one development of each student pharmacist.
