FSOP Student Success at AACP Annual Meeting
The 2018 American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) took place in Boston, Massachusetts from July 21st to July 25th.
Tristyn Greiman, PharmD Candidate in the Class of 2019, was one of 85 student/faculty pairs from AACP member institutions selected as a Walmart Scholar. The Walmart Scholars Program is committed to preparing individuals to for a career in academic pharmacy. Student/faculty pairs are provided travel scholarship to attend the AACP Annual Meeting and its Teachers Seminar. Dr. Kathleen Lusk, Associate Professor at FSOP, served as Ms. Greiman’s faculty mentor in the application, and Dr. Tina Beck, Assistant Professor at FSOP, attended the meeting and seminars with Tristyn.
Four student research posters were produced and presented by FSOP students. A picture of our students/graduates with their posters are shown below.
