Briana Williams, PharmD, BCPS, BCACP
Assistant Professor, Pharmacy Practice
Dr. Briana Williams is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Feik School of Pharmacy (FSOP). She joined the Pharmily at FSOP in 2021 after completing her second-year pharmacy residency in ambulatory care and family medicine at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy. She completed her first-year residency at a large trauma center and safety net hospital in the heart of Denver, Colorado at Denver Health Medical Center. Dr. Williams completed her pre-pharmacy coursework at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she received her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. She subsequently pursued her post-graduate training at the University of Colorado where she received her PharmD degree.
Dr. Williams is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), American Pharmacists Association (APhA), and the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society. Dr. Williams is board certified in pharmacotherapy. She shares a practice site at a Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic with Dr. Cauthon where she precepts fourth year pharmacy students and sees patients for chronic disease state management. Her areas of interest include benign hematology, anticoagulation, and endocrinology including treatment of diabetes and osteoporosis.
