Rafael Gonzales, Jr.
Lab Manager
Mr. Gonzales was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology and minors in Religious Studies and Chemistry. Upon graduation, he was accepted to Harvard University and pursued degrees in Theology, Public Health, and Medicine. Mr. Gonzales was an adjunct instructor at the UIW in the School of Math, Science, and Engineering teaching laboratories in Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, and Biological Chemistry. Mr. Gonzales has also done research at a number of facilities including the Southwest Research Institute for Biomedical Research, the Southwest Research Institute, UT-Health Science Center, and Johns Hopkins University. He research interests include virology, immunology, oncology and the study of religious ethics, and he looks to pursue a Ph.D. in Immunology.
