Dr. Tony Dasher, PharmD

IPPE Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Pharmacy Practice

Dr. Dasher is an Assistant Professor and IPPE Coordinator in the Experiential Programs Department at the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy. He received his BS in Pharmacy and PharmD degrees from the University of Arkansas. Dr. Dasher joined the faculty at UIW in 2018.

Dr. Dasher has worked in and held management positions in many of pharmacy’s practice areas, to include serving as an officer in the U.S. Army, home health, nuclear pharmacy, community practice, hospital practice, and residency program director for an American Society of Health-System Pharmacy (ASHP) accredited program. Prior to joining UIW, Dr. Dasher was the Director of Pharmacy for Methodist Hospital/Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio and served as the San Antonio Regional Internship Personnel for the University of Texas College of Pharmacy.

Dr. Dasher is a member of American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists (TSHP), and Central Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists (CTSHP).

Dr. Dasher’s outside interests include gardening, beekeeping, white water rafting and kayaking.
