Alicia Bryant, PharmD

Co-Curricular Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Pharmacy Practice

Dr. Bryant graduated from Rutgers University with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2004. She also received a master’s degree in Nutrition from the University of Alabama in 2013. Dr. Bryant proudly served as a clinical pharmacist in the U.S. Air Force from 2004 until 2007. Her work continued in helping the military community when she began working for the Veterans Health Administration in 2009 for six years. She served in the medication management of anticoagulation therapy, working directly with patients in clinic.

She continued her career working for a pharmacy benefit company specializing in Worker’s Compensation claims.  During this time, Dr. Bryant reviewed medical records, completed medication reviews, made medication recommendations to medical providers and served as the trainer for onboarding new pharmacy staff. For several years, Dr. Bryant has also served as online adjunct faculty at Ultimate Medical Academy, which educates students seeking a pharmacy technician certification or Associate’s degree. Her areas of interest include personal development, volunteering and medication therapy management.

The Co-Curricular Coordinator is a newly-created position, added to develop and manage the co-curricular component of FSOP students’ education now required by the Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education accreditation standards.
