Monica Barcenez

Monica A. Barcenez is a native of San Antonio, Texas and is happily married to her husband, Michael. Together they have two beautiful children, Matthew and Mia, both graduates of Cibolo Steele High School. Their youngest Mia is a Nursing student enrolled at UIW.

Mrs. Barcenez is the Secretary to the Associate Dean of Experiential Programs. Monica specializes in office management with over 25 years of experience and prides herself in having outstanding customer care. She looks forward to being a useful resource for Pharm D candidates who need help with their educational planning. Her most recent work experience has been supporting middle school students in the special education program at both Schertz/Cibolo and Randolph school districts. She has also spent almost two decades in the fast-paced world of weddings and event planning as an independent businesswoman.

Outside of her work life, Monica enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling and making fantastic memories. Monica is also the self-proclaimed family historian and loves taking photos to capture those memories.
