Rebecca L. Attridge, PharmD, MSc, BCPS, BCCCP

Professor, Pharmacy Practice

Dr. Attridge is a Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Division of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine, Department of Medicine, at UT Health San Antonio. She attended the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy and received her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2007 and her Master of Science in Pharmacy in 2009. She also completed a two-year specialty residency in pharmacotherapy through The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Attridge joined the faculty of the University of the Incarnate Word in 2009.

Dr. Attridge has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and eight book chapters. She is one of the editors for the pocket therapeutics guide, Internal Medicine: A Guide to Clinical Therapeutics, which was released in the spring of 2013. Her research interests include critical care medicine, pulmonary arterial hypertension and infectious diseases. Dr. Attridge also serves as the residency program director for the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy two-year pharmacotherapy residency program.

Dr. Attridge is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), SCCM Texas Chapter, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), the American Society of Health-System Pharmacy (ASHP), the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). She is the chair of the Nominations Committee for SCCM Texas Chapter. She is also a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.
